About Sandra

 Sandra Dorsey has been involved  in domestic violence issues and  treatment since her teen years in the mid  70s.  

Her ‘formal’ training includes degrees from Cerritos and Rio Hondo Colleges in California to Concord and Liberty Universities here.  Among her training:

* AA in Paralegal   

* BA in Criminal Justice 

* BSW in Social Work  

Her certificates, licenses, awards, and  advanced trainings are too numerous to  list but culminated with 8 years as Mercer  County Magistrate.  Other notable positions: 

* Mental Health Magistrate 

* Batterers Intervention Facilitator

* CPS Contractor

* Gambling Addiction Counselor 

* Drug Treatment Counselor  

Volunteer Work – L.A. Prosecutor’s office;  Women and Children Shelters; Child  Abuse Emergency Response Team;  Victim Advocacy; Life Skills and Parenting  Counseling just to name a few.
